Measuring the Harvest

Adventures in Seed Saving.
M and I have been learning together in our garden long before we called it homeschooling. Caring for our baby plants and plucking seeds from the pods of our harvest crops is where it all began, and it’s an interest area that continues to grow and evolve as we do.
Monarch Season’s End.
It’s mid-September and the last of our monarch butterflies is about to hatch, signifying the shift into fall and the natural conclusion of our summer-long, interdisciplinary study of the bugs in our garden. We’re bringing this interest into our garden-view studio with a symmetrical printing project, stretching M’s love of bugs to the fullest in the golden hour of summer with a customized curriculum in Our Homeschool Garden.
